This is Us
As educational leaders, we aim to inspire and support fellow educators in creating impactful learning experiences. By fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth, we hope to cultivate a network of educators who are committed to excellence and innovation in teaching. Together, we can build a future where education is not only informative but also transformative, nurturing the potential of every learner and preparing them to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
I believe genuine growth starts with connection to ourselves and to the communities we serve. With 20 years in education, I am passionately dedicated to co-creating environments where both educators and students can express their authentic selves.
My background spans teaching a diverse range of learners, from preschool to adult education, where I encourage teams to get curious about the ways in which we cultivate a sense of belonging, embody inclusive practices, and ensure our daily activities represent our student body. As the Coordinator of Student Supports & Services with Nevada County Superintendent of Schools, I lead a team dedicated to empowering opportunity youth throughout California. I draw immense inspiration in our student’s determination to enhance their present life experiences.
As the mother of two young daughters, I cherish time with my family hiking, camping, mountain biking, gardening, and cooking.
We’re all in this together, and I look forward to connecting with you. ~ Carrie
